The best way to get new oxygen into the body is via exercise and taking herbs and foods that increase oxygen in the body before exercising. These include: Comfrey, Echinacea, Black Walnut, Gotu Kola, Cornmeal, Suma Root, Organic Germanium, Maitake, Vitamin B6, Astragalus, Vitamin B12 (high in Cobalt) and Wheatgrass.

The herb Cordyceps has been shown to help the body utilize oxygen up to 50% more efficiently. Cold showers will increase the oxygen of the body, thus increasing Catalase levels. Food grade hydrogen peroxide also boosts oxygen levels in the body. However, never take a cold shower and than perform exercise, as your body will develop premature cramps.

Excess oxygen levels will contribute to excess free radicals, causing premature aging. As stated earlier in this book, researchers showed that lab rats lived for two to three years in a normal environment, but only survived for three days when raised in a pure oxygen environment.

The Proper Ratios of Anti-Aging Foods

Nature automatically provides many of these ratios for us in foods we consume. However sometimes you may want to take supplements and extracts and it is important to know the right ratios when you do so. Most foods contain an average ratio that may or may not be higher depending on soil, geographic area of growth and the season.

The famous 2:1 ratio is key to many successful chemical reactions and is also used successfully in electronic and high technology applications. When vegetables and plants are in certain 2:1 ratios, it increases the effectiveness of the compound, making it more effective.
Foods that have a proper Calcium to Phosphorous ratio are those foods that have anti-aging, longivity qualities. Human Breast Milk contains a 2:1 ratio of calcium to phosphorus. It contains numerable substances that revitalize and regenerate the body by rebuilding DNA. The most important of all are indigestible polysaccharides, or sugars that enhance cell to cell communication.

Wheatgrass Juice, the anti-aging superfood, contains the following ratios:
(59 calories - 6.86 mg calcium, 6.80 magnesium, 21 phos - carb to protein 5.67 to 5.52)
Coconut Milk has the following ratios: 18 mg calcium 96 phos. Coconut Milk is quickly absorbed into the body, requiring little or no digestion.

The ideal carbohydrate to protein ratio is between 2 to 1 and 1 to 1. This perfect ratio makes it easy for the good bacteria to break down the proteins. You will find many longivity and anti-aging foods with this ideal ratio. Raw Peanuts have this perfect carb to protein ratio.

An ideal mix for amino acid absorption into the body is: Whey protein isolate, dextrose, 5 grams of L-Glutamine, and 5 grams of Creatine + 1 bottle of water.

Mung Beans have an ideal ratio: (30 calories - 13 mg calcium, 21 magnesium, 54 phos - carb to protein 5.94 to 3.94). Almost similar to that of Coconut Milk, therefore Coconut Milk and Mung Beans are a suitable combination. Mung beans, like wheat, are also easily influenced by geomagnetic forces, as many science researchers use Mung beans in magnetic field experiments.

Foods with a slightly higher carb to protein ratio will increase the metabolism of the thyroid. These include:
Kohlrabi (27calories - 24 mg calcium, 19 magnesium, 46 phos - carb to protein 6.2 to 1.7)
Turnips (28 calories - 30 mg calcium, 11 magnesium, 27 phos - carb to protein 6.43 to 0.9)

Foods that boost metabolism, burning away fat include: Cayenne Pepper, Salsa, Hot Peppers, Chili Sauce / Mustard, Ice Water, Green Tea (Iced or Hot), Apple Cider Vinegar Drink, Purple Cabbage, Celery, Brussel Sprouts, Grapefruit, Oatmeal.

The Proper Ratios of Compounds and Minerals:
Vitamin C to Cysteine - 3:1
Vitamin C to Vitamin E - Between 3 and 4:1
Vitamin B6 to Vitamin B12 - 4:1
All other B Vitamins - 1:1 ratios. This is because Vitamins B6 and B12 are the vitamins the body uses most for recovery and rejuvenation.
B6 to Magnesium is - 2:1
Zinc to Copper - 5:1 for females and 10:1 for males
Calcium to Magnesium - 2:1
Silica to Phosphorous - 3:1
Phospherous to Magnesium - 2:1
Potassium to Sodium - 3:1 - Healthy tissues in the body contain a Potassium/Sodium ratio of approximately 3 to 1. This ratio will reduce hypertention.

Fish Oil to Flax Oil - 2:1
Cod Liver oil to Wheat Germ - 2:1
Omega3 and Omega6 Oils - 2:1. Hemp Oil has an ideal Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio. Flax Oil and Hemp Oils are 2 of natures perfectly balanced Omega 3 to Omega 6 Oils.

Methods that Detox the Body Quickly

During the daytime, sodium and calcium readily enter your cells, and push out potassium and magnesium. Throughout the day, a build up of calcium and sodium occurs, along with diminished levels of potassium and magnesium. This can lead to feeling tired or having a lack of energy. When we sleep, the sodium and calcium, move back out of the cells, taking out toxins, and the potassium and magnesium move back in. The toxins than flow through the lymphatic system, than the blood, than the liver and finally into the colon where it is expelled. If you wake up tired every morning, this means there is a blockage somewhere in the system.

The lymphatic system is responsible for removing toxins out of the body. It is often referred to as the back alleyway for trash removal of the body. There are a multitude of common natural herbs that help the lymphatic system work more efficiently. Some of the most popular are milk thistle, echinacea, burdock and seaweed. The kidneys and bladder are vital in the elimination of the toxins from the liver. While the proper function of the Kidney System can be maintained with tonic herbs such as rehmannia and he-sho-wu, there are also potent diuretic herbs that will stimulate the kidneys directly. These include dandelion, water plantain, and meadowswee. Dandelion Root is an excellent blood purifier that neutralizes acids and has a strong alkalinizing effect on the body and is rich in minerals and potassium. The metabolism of the liver should be at maximum levels in early spring (see flu prevention cures chapter for more details). The large intestine can be detoxed via the herbs aloe, marshmallow and bitter orange. Milk thistle cleans the liver and stimulates liver function to help it filter out impurities. Other herbs for the liver are turmeric, dandelion, burdock root, and licorice. Other good detox combinations include: Olive Leaf Extract & Red Desert Edible Mineral Rich Clay or Bentonite Clay or Psyllium husk and Edible clay. The ratio of psyllium husk to bentonite clay is 10:1 taken with plenty of water. The best clay to use is bentonite green clay, followed by red bentonite clay. During the early summer months, I take more clay than usual, as I feel that more toxins build up due to more heat.

Taurine and glutathione can improve the detoxification capacity of the liver and improve heart function.

Master Cleanse Recipe

The Master Cleanse involves eating no solid food. Instead, you drink a mixture of water, lemon juice, Grade B maple syrup, and Cayenne pepper. The rules are simple. Each day you drink 6-12 glasses of the following mix:

2 tablespoons lemon (or lime) juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
2 tablespoons of genuine "grade B" maple syrup (not maple flavored sugar syrup)
1/10 Teaspoon or more cayenne pepper
1 Cup (8 fluid ounces) of water, room temperature

This recipe not only helps detox the body, but will also boost your immune system. This should be taken for no more than 3 days in a row.

Removing Environmental and Airborne Metals From the Body

The body naturally detoxes itself, when the right foods are eaten, however just about everything we consume, including raw foods contain microscopic trace elements of mercury, aluminum, cadmium, lead and other residues.

The good news is these can be easily removed from the body via a good detoxing. When the body is purged of metal toxins, the enzymes glutathione, catalase and superoxide dismutase naturally rise. A clean system reduces the burden on the liver and kidneys considerably, allowing for elimination of toxins and proper absorption of nutrients into the body. I believe that proteins are the main "magnet" for these metals, storing them in fatty tissues, causing disease over the long term. This same process can be reversed. An example is taking cottage cheese and flax seed oil. The sulphur in the cottage cheese binds to the Omega 3's in flax oil, "pulling them out" of the tissues. Because oil and water don't mix, it causes a "repelling" effect.

Researcher Dr. Omura discovered an inexpensive, easy way to remove or chelate toxic metals from the nervous system and body tissues. Dr. Omura treated several patients for an eye infection called trachoma (granular conjunctivitis), which is caused by the micro-organism Chlamydia trachomatis. Following the standard treatment, Dr. Omura found that the patients' symptoms would initially clear up, only to recur within a few months. After taking a closer look, Dr. Omura found these organisms would "hide" and flourish in areas of the body where there were concentrations of mercury, lead, and aluminum. He discovered that the organisms were using these metals as a "shield" to protect themselves from the medicine. Using the leaves of the coriander plant (Cilantro), Dr. Omura was able to greatly accelerate the removal of mercury, lead, and aluminum from these hard to reach areas in the body.

Detoxing is a simple process, ranging from fasting, to taking special herbs and foods that remove toxic metals. From personal experience and from others finding the best time to detox the body, it is best done around Spring. It is interesting to note that only during the Spring season, the dandelion flower creates a special substance in its roots that combats stress in the body and boosts the immune system. Spring is also the time of year that warmer temperatures return, thus causing multiplication of bacteria, both good and bad, making the body more susceptible to viral infections and a suppressed immune system.
The Positive Charge of Toxins

The environment we live in, the foods we eat and other factors, create multiple positive and negative charges in our bodies. Increasing the negative ions in the blood activates cell funtionability. When there are more positive ions, such as resulting from acidity, or from exposure to a south pole magnetic field, the cell walls close and the ability to absorb nutrition and eliminate toxins is disabled. Through research done by Dr.Tanaka in Japan, it was discovered that when Negative Ionization is introduced, the calcium and natrium (salt) in the blood increases and mobilizes, as the blood is purified (Calcium ionizes at 6.1132 eV).

Alkaline minerals hold a strong negative charge. Mercury, aluminum, cadmium and lead hold a positive charge. When you increase the negative charge in your body, such as by making the body alkaline, it attaches to the positive polarity of the toxins, drawing them out of the body. Clay has a particularly strong negative ionic charge which magnetically attracts the positively-charged substances, including some bacterias. In order to effectively move them out of the body, you must drink plenty of water. In autism treatment centers, Bentonite clay baths are used to safely remove metals and toxins from the body.

Substances that Detox the Body via Polarization

One very strong substance that has a powerful negative charge is zeolite. Zeolite is an alkaline mineral attracting positively charged metals such as mercury, lead, nickel, aluminum, cadmium and other metallic toxins. Zeolites are microporous, aluminosilicate minerals commonly used as commercial absorbents. Most absorbents readily absorb toxins easily. Zeolite safely removes heavy metals and toxins better because their negative charge is soo strong. Zeolite comes in micronized powder, capsules and liquid.

Thioctic Acid is a chelating agent, which means it combines with heavy metals to yield complexes that can be eliminated by the body. Because it is both a water and fat soluble molecule (like Alpha Lipioc Acid), thiocitc acid has access to almost any tissue in the body and works within cells too. It also increases the intra cellular level of glutathione.

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic sulphur compound. As a source of sulphur, it helps eliminate heavy metals, just like the sulphur containing amino acids, by chelating the heavy metals and making them soluble.

IP6 rice bran extract is a selective chelator and has been shown to be a powerful body detoxifier and cleansing agent. It does not attach to potassium, sodium or magnesium, which are important electrolyte minerals required for heart rhythm.

Effective mercury chelators include: Garlic, selenium, zinc, copper, manganese, magnesium, calcium, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Acetyl L-carnitine, and glutathione.

Natural Herbs that Remove Toxic Metals From the Body

Cilantro extract has been shown in clinical trials and research to mobilize mercury, tin, and other toxic metals stored in the brain and spinal cord, moving them rapidly out of those tissues.

Coriander or Cilantro combines well with Vitamin C.
Synergists of Cilantro or Coriander: Dill and Eucalyptus

Lemon and Extra Virgin Olive Oil when taken together act as a potent liver and gallbladder flush, detoxifying the liver, lowering biliruben levels, removing heavy metals, increasing the production of bile from the liver, stimulating lymphatic flow, and restoring the pH of your saliva.

Sulfur-containing amino acids such as cysteine and methionine help eliminate toxic metals. Raw yellow egg yolk will remove a build up of excessive proteins in the body, helping to reduce the load on the liver.

Garlic has been shown to protect the white and red blood cells from oxidative damage caused by metals in the blood stream. Garlic contains numerous sulphur components, including the most valuable sulph-hydryl groups which oxidize mercury, cadmium and lead and makes these metals water soluble.

Soluble Fiber and Resistant Starch are the most powerful toxin removers for excess protein and iron buildup. Foods highest in Fiber: Crude Corn Bran, General Mills Fiber One, Raw Lemon with Peel, Cinnamon Spice, Wheat Bran, Liquid Pectin, Raw Endive, Raw Chicory.

Chlorella Algae will remove heavy metals. Fulvic acid binds with toxic heavy metals, as well as other pollutants, and carries them out of the body. Used also to create huge garden and plant yields, fulvic acid is capable of transporting molecules heavier than itself out of the body. It makes cell walls permeable, meaning that your body is better able to absorb and utilize nutrients. Minerals that interact with fulvic acid also have increased bioavailability and are more easily assimilated.

French Green Clay or Bentonite Clay. These edible clays have been used as an internal detoxification supplement in Europe for thousands of years to remove the causes of disease symptoms. In 1986 after the meltdown of the Soviet nuclear power plant, Chernobyl, the Soviet Union put French Green Clay in chocolate bars and dispensed them freely to the masses to remove radiation they may have been exposed to. Found only in France and India, the ancient sea beds that provide the green clays have healing qualities that not only attach themselves to and remove toxic foreign substances within the body, but activate the body's own immune system through its chemical constitution.

Using Hydrogen Peroxide Safely to Detoxify the Body

One of the most simple and most effective ways to remove metals from the body is food grade hydrogen peroxide. Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide is a perfect detoxer for the body, as it readily enters the cells, attaching to heavy metals, and drawing out toxins. It should only be used short term, or by using the schedule below.

What is the proper dilution scale for food grade hydrogen peroxide?
Dilution scale: Note 2 oz = cup
Mix 2 oz of 35% hydrogen peroxide with 22 oz of distilled water = 24 oz 3.5% diluted hydrogen peroxide solution
Mix 2 oz of 17% hydrogen peroxide with 12 oz of distilled water = 14 oz 3.5% diluted hydrogen peroxide solution
Mix 2 oz of 12% hydrogen peroxide with 8 oz of distilled water = 10 oz 3.5% diluted hydrogen peroxide solution
Mix one part 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide with five parts of distilled water (.5% solution of hydrogen peroxide) or use a gallon of water by taking out 20 oz. of water and replaying it with 20 oz. of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide.

SCHEDULE FOR FOR 35% H2O2 per 8oz of water

1st day, use 9 drops total, (3 drops, 3 times / day)
2nd day, use 12 drops total, (4 drops, 3 times / day)
3rd day, use 15 drops, (5 drops, 3 times / day)
4th day, use 18 drops, (6 drops, 3 times / day)
5th day, use 21 drops, (7 drops, 3 times / day)
6th day, use 24 drops, (8 drops, 3 times / day)
7th day, use 27 drops, (9 drops, 3 times / day)
8th day, use 30 drops, (10 drops, 3 times / day)
9th day, use 36 drops, (12 drops, 3 times / day)
10th day, use 42 drops, (14 drops, 3 times / day)
11th day, use 48 drops, (16 drops, 3 times / day)

14th day, use 66 drops, (22 drops, 3 times / day)
15th day, use 72 drops, (24 drops, 3 times / day)
16th day, use 75 drops, (25 drops, 3 times / day)

To make a 3% Solution (Using 35%): Mix 1 oz. of 35% hydrogen peroxide into 11 oz. of distilled water. This makes 3/4 pint of 3% solution. A good maintenance would be 5 15 drops per week, depending on the amount of cooked and processed foods you are eating. If the above amounts are too much, back off to an amount of intake you feel comfortable with. Stay at that level until you get the results you are looking for. If you have a weak stomach, try using 1 oz. of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide in 8 oz. of milk, vegetable juice, fruit juice, non-sugary, non-alcoholic or non-carbonated beverage. After using food grade hydrogen peroxide for a while, you can adjust how much you take, depending on how intuitive your body needs it.

Take on an empty stomach, 1 hour before a meal, or an hour after a meal. If your stomach gets upset at any level, stay at that level, or go back one level. Note: Candida victims may need to start at 1 drop 3 times per day. For more serious complaints stay at 25 drops, 3 times per day for 1 3 weeks.

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide Synergists: Copper or Iron.

Detox Bath:
1 cups Epsom Salt and cup Baking Soda in your bath water and soak for about 20 minutes or longer.

Herbs for Fasting

One of the best times to fast is during full and new moons. We can use the higher ion energy from the moon in the air to help detox the body. During the new moon the air is filled with more negative ions (negative ions are beneficial for health and healing), and during a full moon, the air is filled with an overabundance of positive ions. Be sure your body has been filled with adequate nutrition just before the time you start your fast (taking plenty of Spirulina, Flax Seeds, Wheatgrass and other supernutrients 24 to 48 hrs beforehand.) During the fasting period, be sure to keep your body properly hydrated. When fasting, the best herbs for detoxing are Burdock, Milk Thistle, yellow dock root, sarsparilla root and licorice root. A good 24 to 48 hour fast on these herbs with plenty of water will also help increase the metabolism of the liver.

Other powerful periods of high energy include the solstices and equinoxes, especially if they fall on or near a full moon. The winter solstice and spring equinox are 2 of the mostly charged periods of the year. Its interesting that these high energy periods "feed" our bodies, giving us a chance to detox and remove toxins from our body. After fasting for long periods, it is best to let your body slowly get used to food again. The best foods to restart with are predigested foods such as honey. Also soft fresh fruits such as raspberries and banannas are good starters.

If you are detoxing your body during these periods, a full detox should last a minimum of 7 days. Detoxes work best during early spring and again around summer time. A coffee Enema is one of the most powerful ways to get the liver to naturally dump toxins during a detox. A good primer ton Coffee Enemas can be found here: http://www.ineedcoffee.com/01/enema/?page=all

The Nitric Oxide Connection

As we age, our blood vessels and nitric oxide system become less efficient due to free radical damage, inactivity, and poor diet, causing our veins and arteries to deteriorate. Athletes and youth have the most optimal nitric oxide systems, reflecting their energy and resilience. Think of a fire hose as water rushes through it to put out a fire - it needs to expand enough to handle the pressure, still keeping enough force to put out the fire. Nitric Oxide moves proteins throughout our body, increasing regeneration. Nitic Oxide has a very brief life, just like the longivity substances reservatol and during DNA repair.

Ways to increase nitric oxide is by exercise and by consuming the amino acids L-arginine and L-citrulline. Arginine directly creates nitric oxide and citrulline inside the cell. Citrulline is then recycled back into arginine, making even more nitric oxide. Pistachios and Sesame Seeds are naturally high in Arginne. L-arginine and L-citrulline also increase the flow of blood and oxygen to the skeletal muscles, creating strength and endurance. It also facilitates the removal of excess lactic acid build-up, reducing fatigue and recovery time.

How Light Weight Molecular Substances Contribute to Longivity

The key to successful renewal of the body is to have the minerals small or light enough so they can pass into the cells, bones and tissues and do their cleansing and nutrient delivery. Alpha Lipoic Acid is one miracle that does this because it is fat and water soluble, easily penetrating both barriers. The anaerobic bacteria in the soil also play a significant role in preparing inorganic minerals for absorption by plants. This is accomplished through the bacteria or plant's membranes converting high molecular weight humus minerals into low molecular weight molecules.

There are various ways to convert heavy weight substances into low weight substances. Enzymes are one source, another is via acids, such as the hydrochoric acid in our stomach, and another is by taking ionized minerals. The best way is by mixing Omega 3's with a calcium carbonate, making it super water soluble, allowing it for rapid penetration into the body.

The alkaline metal barium, is used in sugar refining to make the molecules in sugar smaller, thus making them more water soluble by the body, leading to increased energy. Foods high in Barium also have this same effect. Foods high in Barium are also high in Omega 3's. These include Seaweed, Sardines and Brazil nuts. From this we can conclude that taking calcium carbonate substances with an alkaline substance makes it much more easier for absorption into the body.

As mentioned previously, research has revealed that remarkable bone regeneration and resorption characteristics occurred when animal bone implants were impregnated with a low molecular weight humic substance (fulvic acid) prior to transplant. The bone implant then became highly osteoconductive, and served the host tissue as a "guide-line" for the deposition of newly developing bone tissue. The same transplant procedure without the fulvic acid showed no signs of regeneration during the course of the experiment.

Below are listed techniques and foods with the lowest molecular weight:

The 2 most powerful methods that make the body quickly alkaline are lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. They are the two elements with the lightest molecular weight. They also contain the most number of loose hydrogen atoms.

Low molecular weight alcohols have been shown to be excellent ingredients for growing antimicrobials.

Sucrose, Maltose and Dextrin are low weight molecular carbohydrates. These feed good bacteria in the stomach.

Beta Carotene and Vit E have the lowest molecular weight. B vitamins are heavy, helping create beneficial bacteria in the stomach.

Glutamic acid, which removes ammonia from the body is of low molecular weight.

Magnesium Sulphate, used to make mineral water, is of low molecular weight.

Sulphuric acid is of low molecular weight.

Monosacchrides contain only a single molecule structure that allows easy absorption by the intestine wall. Monosaccharides include glucose (dextrose), fructose (levulose), galactose, xylose and ribose. Monosaccharides are also in highest quantities in fruit that is overripe.

The Polyphenols Connection

Polyphenols are some of the most powerful antioxidants known and include the tocopherols, which are secondary plant substances. They come from the DNA rebuilding substance phenylalanine (the rebuilder of DNA. They exist in abundance in the apple. One commercialized polyphenol is Apple Poly, a pure fruit extract made from baby apple skins- the world's richest natural source of water-soluble apple polyphenols. Apple Poly contains over 25,000 ORAC units per gram. This commercial brand of polyphenol has been shown to eliminate baldness by growing new hair when rubbed into the scalp.

Ellagic acid, a phytochemical found in red raspberries, has been used in fruit fly experiments to significantly extend the lifespan of flies. Ellagic Acid in combination with glucose, makes a water-soluble compound that is easily absorbed by the body. Hoodia Gordonii and Ellagic acid are an excellent combination. Ellagic acid is highest in pomegranate and can be found in berries (raspberries, strawberries), grapes, nuts, milk thistle and garlic.

Because cold showers and polyphenols increase catalase in the body, this confirms the research that Polyphenols when exposed to cold, increase their concentration, due to the elevated thermal levels that occur.

Foods highest in polyphenols include: Dark bitter chocolate and unsweetened cocoa and extra Virgin Olive Oil. Additional sources of polyphenols include: Tea and Coffee (choose caffeinated tea and coffee, as the decaffeination process may remove polyphenols along with the caffeine), yerba mate, Berries, Beer, grapes/wine, walnuts, peanuts, borojo, pomegranate, Soybeans, Yellow Onions.
Polyphenols synergists include: Chlorogenic acid + Tocopherol

The 280 NM Lightwave Spectrum

Light is one of the most powerful life giving forms of energy there is. It is also a double edged sword. Knowing the proper amount of light your body needs, as well as the proper frequency of this light, can do wonders for the body. There is a special frequency in the lightwave spectrum that has tremendous rejuvenative effects. This range, called the medium wave ultraviolet light or the UVB spectrum, occurs between 280nm to 320nm. The UVB spectrum has proven very effective for the treatment of skin disorders such as psoriasis, vitiligo and atopic dermatitis (eczema). The range between 300 and 315 nm range is the spectrum that water absorbs light the strongest and our bodies are made up mostly of water. The wavelength of 254 nm is the range that DNA absorb UVB light.

Like the infrared spectrum, which is strongest at sunrise and sunset, the UVB spectrum, is also composed of short wavelengths. It contains a high energy level with 80% of the rays reaching the dermis of the skin and 20% of them penetrating deeper into the skin. This makes a perfect 8:1 ratio. Other forms of this ratio occur in the following: The Zinc to Copper ratio is 10:1 for males. Plants increase their growth in an approximate 10:1 ratio of freshwater to seawater and Coconut Oil and Canola Oil in a 10:1 ratio give the skin a "glow".

When you spend spend a short amount of time in light that is in the UVB range, your body feels "charged" afterwards, especially during "life force" storms. The light bulbs used in tanning beds use a similar frequency to the 280nm light spectrum. This is probably why tanning salons are an addiction to some people, due to this "energizing" effect occurring. When the body is exposed to the warm UVB wavelength h between 290 - 315nm, the provitamin D in your cells are converted extremely rapidly into provitamin D3 (Vitamin D3 is a steroid hormone that has long been known for its important role in regulating body levels of calcium and phosphorus and in the mineralization of bone).
The peak wavelength for this mineralization occurs at or near the 297nm spectrum.

How the UVB Spectrum Breeds New Life

Chaulmoogra oil (a vegetable oil famous for its healing properties) uses the absorption of excessive UV light to create profound healing effects on the body. In India, it is poured into large open vats and exposed to the atmosphere for 15, 20, or even as long as 25 years. This natural treatment of the vegetable oils by the oxygenation (atmospheric air) and UV radiation (sun exposure) creates a fundamental change of molecular structure, resulting in an extremely powerful healing oil. Interesting facts about substances exposed to the UVB Spectrum: When yeast is exposed to between 253 and 366 nanometers, the Vitamin D levels increase. Lactoferrin absorption of light peaks at 280 nm. ATP absorbs light strongest in the 270 nanometer wavelength.

Exposing sliced carrots to UV-B, one of the three kinds of ultraviolet light in sunshine, can boost the antioxidant activity of the colorful vegetable.

Reference: USDA research study performed by Tara H. McHugh. The carrot investigation, conducted by McHugh, postdoctoral associate Wen-Xian Du and others at the ARS Western Regional Research Center in Albany, Calif., suggests that a moderate, 14-second dose of UV-B can boost fresh, sliced carrots' antioxidant capacity. Scientists have known for at least a decade that exposing plants to UV-B may cause what's known as abiotic stress. Plants respond to the stress by revving up their production of two natural enzymes, polyphenylalanine ammonia-lyase, and chalcone synthase.

When Tryptophan or Tyrosine is exposed to 295 nm, it will excite their molecules.
When proteins are exposed to 295 and 280 nm, the tryptophanyl group starts interacting with the ligand.
The DNA rebuilding substance phenyalaine absorbs light strongest at the 280nm.
Linoleic Acid (found in high levels in Raw Organic Butter) peaks its absorbance of light between 270-280 nm.
Microbial activity peaks at 300 nm.

Commercially-available low pressure mercury-vapor lamps emit light at 254 nanometers (nm), which are used to kill bad bacteria. Although the 185 nm wavelength is better absorbed by DNA, the quartz glass used in commercially-available lamps, as well as environmental media such as water, are more opaque to 185 nm than 254 nm.

Due to the shorter wavelengths, excessive exposure to UVB light below 305nm can cause an increased risk of skin cancer, and skin discomfort. For longer term exposure, the light between 310nm and 313nm wavelengths is safer. You can buy "narrowband" UVB tubes that emit UVB light in this specific range.

Where To Get Adequate 280nm Lightwaves

You can receive an adequate supply of 280nm light by spending time in the sun or by going to a tanning salon. While an overexposure of too much ultraviolet light can be harmful, just like too much of any anti-aging substance causes cancer, just the right amount of exposure is actually very rejuvenative. UVB levels in sunlight increase approximately 3 to 5 days after a solar flare, as the atmosphere is significantly more ionized. You can find some good scientific websites online giving 3 day forecasts of the worldwide UV index.

Medium wave ultraviolet absorbs strongest at high elevations (effects of geomagnetic storms are also felt strongest at high elevations). I believe that that UV light is related to longivity. One example is the worlds 2nd oldest living tree, which is still sprouting cones, so it can still reproduce, is the tree called Methuselah, which is about 4,770 years old. Due to its high elevation, it is exposed to high levels of UVB light year round, and grows in Dolomite soil. As mentioned previously in this book, dolomite soil has a perfect calcium to magnesium ratio of 2:1, the same ratio that Coral Calcium (dissolves acidity in the blood) is made up of. The famous longivity people living in the Sango Coral Reef islands in Japan drink water high in coral calcium. This shows there is a rejuvenative connection between calcium and ultraviolet light, especially in the 280 nm spectrum. Its possible the UVB spectrum is boosting the clarity of the cell to cell signaling in the body.

Another example of a plant that grows at high elevations are the leaves of A. Ursinum or Alpine Wild Garlic. This garlic has 20 times more Adenosine than regular garlic. Another method to increase medium wave ultraviolet absorption is to take white button mushrooms before exposing your body to this light frequency, which rapidly and significantly increases the amount of Vitamin D3 in your body.

Locations of Medium Wave Ultraviolet

The broad range of Ultraviolet that you find in the sun, always has the medium wave ultraviolet contained in it, so knowing the best times that the UV levels are stronger, will give your body a boost of this medium wave ultraviolet. You will receive an extra boost of beneficial energy if your body has adequate levels of electron rich foods such as Spirulina, Flaxseed etc.

UV Levels according to Time of Day

UV levels are greater in tropical areas near the earth's equator (the same geographic region many longivity herbs, plants and foods are found). The highest readings of Ultraviolet (at sea level) will be seen under clear skies in the Tropics when the sun is directly overhead, typically from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. At the equinoxes, this will be at the Equator; at the solstices, it will be along the Tropic of Cancer in June and the Tropic of Capricorn in December. The further from the equator, the lower the UVB reading even at mid-day, because the sun will be lower in the sky. The lowest readings of all will be seen at high latitudes in either hemisphere during winter months - when the days are short and the sun does not rise high in the sky.

Thick, dark clouds block UV radiation, puffy or thin-layered clouds increase it. Hazy days may see just as high UV values reaching the surface as on clear days. Ultraviolet light bonds strongly to oxygen and levels are greatest in wide open spaces, especially when highly reflective surfaces are present, like snow, sand, water and concrete. It doubles its intensity when reflected off of snow. This is why a snow skiiers get sunburned during the middle of winter. UV levels are significantly less in urban settings, where tall buildings shade the streets.

The Magic Frequency of 60HZ

Just as we can find the rejuvenative "frequency" in light by knowing the right nanometer range, there are also frequencies emitted by our sun and its solar wind that have profound rejuvenative effects. The frequency of the solar wind is between 30 to 50 khz. The famous antigravity research scientist Mr. Keely quoted 42.8KHz. as being a significant frequency for some of his most profound experiments. The most beneficial solar wind speed for health and well being are between the speeds of 325 and 330.

Below are more facts about the 60KHZ frequency:

It has tremendous healing and therapeutic benefits on the human body.
Oxygen exposed to 50 khz rapidly absorbs it.
A temporary 60hz electrostatic field effect has been shown to be beneficial for enzymes.
60hz is the same frequency that the antigravity researcher Floyd Sweet used to levitate an alkaline barium magnet.
Lactobacillus Acidophilus in its early stages can be accelerated in its growth at a 60hz frequency with harmonics.
Bacteria and molds and fungis grow easily when subjected to a 60hz sinusoidal field with harmonics.
Soybean seeds sprout up to 50% earlier after being exposed to a 60hz frequency.

Like many anti-aging substances when used in excess, exposure to 60hz also contributes to cancer and has negative conditions on health. A good example is living in a house near where large 60hz power lines are present (60hz is the standard frequency range for power lines in north america). This effect would be increased if you used high power devices such as blenders or hair dryers often. This excessive energy would gradually build up over the long term, with substantial effects occurring during periods of high solar activity.

Oxidative Stress and The Sir2 Gene

Stress is a natural part of health, it accompanies growth and expansion. Stress on the body is stronger during the 2 equinoxes of the year. Short "bursts" of stress are beneficial to the body. Only when the body is subjected to stress for long periods of time, can it be damaging to the body. Researcher Trey Ideker, Ph.D. at the University of California San Diego Quotes:"Humans may actually be able to prolong the aging process by regularly exposing the body to small amounts of oxidative stress".

Plants produce resveratrol when they are stressed. It is possible that plants use this stress to increase their own Sir2 activity. The longivity gene, Sir2, is activated by stress. Nicotinamide (Also known as Vitamin B3 and Niacin) is one of the most potent inhibitors for activation of the SIR2 Gene. The food highest in Niacin is Coffee.

Polyphenols will also activate the SIR2 Gene, mimicking calorie restriction.

How Temporary Bursts of Stress Prolong Life

When yeast cells are deprived of food (caloric restriction), their stress pathways are activated and the cells are forced to derive energy from alternative substrates. This produces alterations in oxygen consumption, which in turn creates reduced forms of nicotinamide. NAD stimulates the activity of the Sir2 gene, which in turn chemically modifies several proteins that are involved in cellular processes affecting longevity. Research quote by Dr. Howitz - "Yeast Cells are the key biological life form in cells and are greatly accelerated by B vitamins, which feed the yeast cells, allowing them to multiply."

Chromium induces oxidative stress. Studies have shown that chromium and niacin work synergistically, and together, can reduce cholesterol at doses that avoid niacin's side effects. Chromium Polynicotinate has greater biological activity than other forms of chromium.

Reactive oxygen species. This occurs from stress, heat exposure, or environmental stress and can cause significant aging to the body's cells. However, when the proper exercise is applied, it reverses. Studies show that exercise-induced ROS production plays a role in the induction of antioxidants, DNA repair and protein degrading enzymes, resulting in decreases in the incidence of oxidative stress-related diseases and retardation of the aging process. ROS can also be reduced by intracellular antioxidant enzymes including superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase as well as some antioxidant molecules like glutathione and vitamin E, all of which occur during exercise.Selenium activates the important antioxidant enzyme Glutathione Peroxidase, which also acts as a powerfull cancer killer.

Foods highest in Niacin, besides coffee, include: wheat, yogurt, eggs, Sardines. Niacin absorbs well into the body when taken with Vitamin C.

Geomagnetic Storms. These put stress on the body, however by performing the exercises during the "life force" period, this stress becomes a "beneficial stress" bringing about significant health renewal overnight.

During October through January, the earth orbits closer to the sun. During winter, stress is highest on the body, probably due to the increased geomagnetic storms. This is the time of year that visits to chiropractors peak and is also the time of year that Halloween occurs, which shows the horrors of destructive and aging bodies.

The 2 equinoxes of the year signal the change in direction of our sun. After the winter solstice it moves northwards and after the summer solstice, it moves southwards. I believe that because the body is so closely linked to our sun, that the change in direction of northwards affects the immune system of the body the most.

Excessive polyphenols will remove iron from the body and also create this "stress" upon the body. Foods highest in polyphenols include: Herbal teas, Dark bitter chocolate, unsweetened cocoa and extra Virgin Olive Oil. Another way to induce beneficial stress on the body is if you regularly take longivity compounds and than stop taking them for a while, it will create a short term beneficial "stress" on the body. I know this works from personal experience. Research has shown that when guinea pigs are fasted for 4 days, the concentration of tocopherol (a form of polyphenol) in the fat tissue increases. This reducing of longivity compounds works best just before the upcoming solstices/equinoxes.

Flu Prevention Cures / Boosting the Immune System

It is easy to keep the body in healthy physical shape via working out and exercise. It is not uncommon nowadays to see 90 year old men with bodies that look like a 26 year old. This is all due to supplying the body with the proper nutrition.

There is one very, very significant weakness here. Your body may look and feel fit, but it has now become vulnerable to the tiny bacteria microbes, that claim millions of lives each year. This manifests itself most often via inflammation and a depleted or overexcited immune system, the most common being bacteria that multiply into pneumonia. Professional sports athletes, those who are the most physically fit in our society, are also those must vulnerable to the flu and an overexcited immune system. A similar perspective on infection is offered by Dr. Lauren Sompayrac: For years physicians have noticed that autoimmune diseases frequently follow bacterial or viral infections, and immunologists believe that microbial attack may be one of the key environmental factors that trigger autoimmune disease. Dr.Lauren Sompayrac.

I believe that springtime is a breeding time for new bacteria that the body has not yet become accustomed to. Spring brings with it new moisture, as well as drier air. This period becomes a tremendous fuel source for bacteria and fungi, and if the body is not ready for it, can cause inflammation. As mentioned earlier in this book, the flower Dandelion, which happens to be one of the best liver detoxers, produces a substance in its roots called mannitol. This substance is only produced in the roots during springtime. Mannitol is also a powerful stress reliever and helps boost the body's immune system. I have personally noted that during Spring the most common effect from overexercise is inflammation. Mannitol has been shown to control neuro-inflammation. it has also been shown to reduce or eliminate the symptoms entirely of Carpal Tunnel or Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. (Reference: Hooshmand H, Suter C, Dove J: The effects of mannitol and dexametheasone on CSF pressure)

I believe that our bodies are more resistant to these new forms of bacteria from May to December because they have built up resistance to them throughout the year. I believe they emerge around the Winter Solstice, maturing until just after the April Equinox. Our bodies immune systems are constantly making "antivenoms" to negative bacteria all the time. A too clean or constantly "sterile" environment does not allow our bodies to assimilate small amounts of this bacteria, allowing our immune systems to make the antibodies necessary to defeat them. If your environment is made "too clean" or sterile, when this new bacteria emerges, there is no defense system for it to build on. Please note protecting the immune system and reducing inflammation are two different things.

How To Boost the Metabolism of the Liver

In Spring the immune system, as well as the liver can become overstimulated. Chinese medicine believes that spring is the time the liver is most active. This is when the metabolism of the liver should be increased. Spring also happens to be a popular time people detox their bodies, getting rid of the excess internal burdens the body has stored up during winter. Research has shown that the liver works harder during spring time, therefore foods that boost liver metabolism are very important. Although it is the function of the kidneys to process water and eliminate toxins from the body, when the body becomes dehydrated the liver takes over. The job of the liver is to convert stored fat into energy, but if the kidneys do not get the water they need to function, the liver needs to help out. Unfortunately, this leaves the liver less time to metabolize fat and it begins to accumulate fluid instead. When the body does not get enough water, it stores the fat for later use. When liver function slows, so does the body's metabolism. Drinking water and eating celery can increase the metabolic rate by allowing the liver to focus on its role in storing glycogen instead of fluid retention. Glycogen is the body's way of storing glucose, the body's main source of fuel for energy. Other ways to boost liver metabolism: Avoid heavily processed foods, preservatives and pesticides which do a very good job of creating a toxic mess for your liver to clean up - Drink a lot of Water throughout the day - Avoid high stress situations - If you do eat when you're not hungry, this makes your liver work too hard which will make it suffer with wear and tear - Stick to light foods.
